Chateau Bastor Lamontagne
Le château Bastor-Lamontagne is a superbe chartreuse built in the XVIIIth century. Until 1710, theproperty belonged to the king of France, befor is purchase by Vincent de Montaigne hense the nameof the Château. Amédée Larrieu, also the owner of famous Château Haut-Brion which develop Bastor- Lamontage's vineyard to produce a hight quality wine. The Château is located in Preignac on one of the five municipalities of the Sauternes appellation, and the vineyard covers 52 hectares.
Château Bastor-Lamontagne have an intense golden yellow colour. A beautiful fine nose, pure and lively. A fruity bouquet displaying notes of sweet spices, pineapple, orange blossom and hydromel. Beautiful aromas of white and stewed fruit (pear), which then evolve into delicate notes of pepper. A pure and elegant wine with great power, nicely balanced by fresh acidity. It leaves a nice impression of freshness, a beautiful finish in full bloom, deliciously soft and refined.
