Château de Lamarque & Clos Beauregard

Château de Lamarque

Château de Lamarque is one of the oldest châteaux of the Médoc, at 1,000 years old, it is the same age as the recorded history of its owners' family.

A member of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux for many years, the Château de Lamarque is considered equal in quality to its most prestigious fellow members, the grands crus classés.

The domaine produces wines of excellence characterised by finesse, subtlety and elegance; wines that also have a great capacity to age.

Clos Beauregard

The 6 hectares of vine that cover the beautiful property of Clos Beauregard run across the lower stretches of Château Beauregard, to which it was attached up until the 1930s. The 40-year-old vines, their age an indication of excellent farming, are mostly Merlot. And the wine is created with the high precision demanded by the finest wines.

In order to optimise the potential of this terroir, Clos Beauregard has been backed by the oenological expertise of Michel Rolland and his team since the 2011 vintage. A real partnership has grown up between our oenologists and Michel’s team, which steps in at the key stages of this lovely wine’s development.
